How do I create a profit and loss report?

Profit and loss reports are created in the Reports section. Please select Profit and Loss from the menu to display a report defaulted to the previous three months.

Press the down arrow to adjust the date range that is displayed in the report. You may also optionally exclude accounts with zero balances from the report by selecting the link next to the down arrow.

How can I see my balance sheet?

The Balance Sheet is with in the Reports section. Please select Balance Sheet from the main menu. This will display the current balance sheet for your organisation. The current year earnings is drawn from the profit and loss account dated from the start of the current year end to today's date.

Can I see what customers are late in paying me?

There are several ways to look at what customers owe you money. The simplest overview is the Debtors report within the Reports section. This report lists each customer and the amounts owed by them. You can configure a date range to look at older invoicing.

The alternative way is to look at the Invoice List screen in the sales section. By clicking on the down arrow you can filter the list to only show invoices from a particular customer. A status is shown next to each invoice, showing 'Awaiting Payment' or 'Paid'.

Can I see what suppliers I should pay next?

There are several ways to look at what suppliers you owe money two. The simplest overview is the Creditors report within the Reports section. This report lists each supplier and the amounts owed to them. You can configure a date range to look at older invoicing.

The alternative way is to look at the Invoice List screen in the Purchases section. By clicking on the down arrow you can filter the list to only show invoices to a particular supplier. A status is shown next to each invoice, showing 'Awaiting Payment' or 'Paid'.

How can I calculate the sales tax that I owe?

Yendo can calculate your sales taxes for you. If you have carefully assigned a tax code to your sales/purchases invoices then Yendo will be able to calculate your sales tax for you.

Sales taxes are influenced by the jurisdiction that your customer or supplier is in. i.e. tax from customers outside of your country or the EU. You must take care when creating new Contacts that you specify what country they operate from.

You can access sales tax reports from within the Reports section. The 'Sales Tax General' report will display the balance of taxes paid/received for each tax code in the selected date range. Clicking on a tax code will display the detail of that balance.

You may also access country specific tax returns which will detail you tax balances under the format required by your tax authority.
